Prospecting

"Prospecting" , is the most valuable way of getting information about our gigs, acts, and venues. Like in mining culture is about finding sources on the web where a lot of information can be found. When the wealth is found, its simply a matter of pointing people or machines towards it to extract the wealth. Brisgig has quite a good mining machine for extracting rich information; both automagically, and manually from sources, but we need to know where they are. It's quite amazing how much can come out of one good link. Help us mine the net's rich information sources by prospecting with us!

Scouting for gigs

One of the most important jobs in Brisgig is the Gig Scout; We need to supply the city with knowledge of what's on and it's your job to provide it (with a little help of our software). Basically you go to the Gig scout page and that takes you through a step-by step process of checking gigs against our database of places the information likes to "hide out". It's quite fun and if you ask us, very addictive. Contrib-points for all gigs too!

Profiling

Profiling Is our last resort for getting information into Brisgig, but is certainly where the rubber meets the road in alot of casese. Acts, Gigs, and Venues need to be profiled when prospecting fails to find the correct information.
